| Wednesday
8 October Arrival and Welcome Party After checking in to the "Time Out"
hotel the team
and supporters were taken by coaches to the Rockley Golf Centre for an
official welcome.
Brief speeches from the Barbados Tourist Authority and Team Travel with a response by the acting South & South East Chairman were accompanied by a superb buffet and first taste (for some) of traditional Barbados Rum Punch. |

| Thursday
9 October Free day The morning was greeted by a
tropical storm which certainly did little
to dampen the spirits of our teams who accepted that Caribbean rain is
at least warm and usually temporary.
In the afternoon the storm passed on and it was down to the beach. |
